People in Earlier Times are Healthier than Modern Societies. [5]

I agree with the point of view. I see many old age in my hometown. Although they are more 65 years old, most of them are healthy and also long life. They can work hard till nowadays. While many adult (35 – 50 years old) are getting illness such as heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, overweight etc. Most of all can cause by the foods that they now eat.

I think the cause of all people in earlier times are healthy is eating better food than nowadays. The food they bought or eaten was more nutritious. They can grew by themselves or bought from local farms. There are lots of foods for example vegetables, fruits, eggs, milks, etc. They are fresh and safe. They also don’t have chemicals. But nowadays, modern societies, everybody hurry to do activities such as go to work, go to study or anywhere. Many people work at outside. Fast foods are the best choices: hamburger, sausage, pizza, sandwich, and caned food. They buy ready-to-eat food from shop or super market. It rather isn’t fresh and also come from industry for keeping vegetables and fruits fresh. Although they was confirmed that is safe, clean, and hygienic. They may not adequate nutrient. Especially Thai food that earlier times eat, it’s full of herb that can treat illness. But now many kind of food take from western foods that have too much fat and carbohydrate. It isn’t good for health.

However it is no problem, if we know how to select food that full of nutrition and it also clean, safe, comfortable and easy to eat. Growing vegetables and fruits for eating, it’s a good way when you have time and area. If it’s impossible, you can cook by yourself. Exercise is also a good way to be healthy. Let’s take care ourselves!

The Minnesota Starvation Experiment [4]

After I read the topic, I don’t agree with the experiment to use human to participate in starvation experiment. I think although they are necessary and helpful to use knowledge helping for understanding starvation, some of them is cruel, immoral or mentally and physically harmful.

It follows a year experiment on a group of young men. The first stage focuses on observing normal eating habits and personality. In the next, the men's calorie were cut by 50%. And the last three months, their diets were allowed to return to normal. It’s certain that impacted on physical and mental. It was bad for their body and their mind. Many people were upset and nervous because of they hungry. They lost their weight and lost energy too.

If it’s possible that we can use other things to use as the selected to participate in the experiment or changing the methods or experiment stage, I think it’s a good way that is to find out what effect they have and isn’t cruel to anyone.

Why I want to get marriage [3]

I think we can’t live alone. Since we was born, we lived in a family. There are many people in a family; father, mother, children etc. So I want to raise a warm family with someone who can take care of me and the children. He also understand me and can help me to solve the problem. Although it’s difficult to have a successful marriage, it can make me happy. I think happy life depend on a successful marriage. Having a good mate is important in marriage life. I want to marry someone who is similar to me in many ways such as age, education, attitudes and opinions etc. It’s important to have children after we get marriage. If we don’t have children, the family is not complete. I think the best age at which to get marriage is 25-30 years old. Because at that time we can make money and prepare every things for a new family. These are the reasons why I want to get marriage in the future.

After reading the text "Adulthood" [2]

I never seriously ask myself these questions before I read this topic. I just tell myself; I want to get a job, I need more education, I want to get married that are normal questions. But after I read this text, many questions came to my idea. Why I never plan my future life? How can I do in the future? These are the questions that I need to answer. I begin to be an adult. So I need to know how adult can adapt himself to the new and different things. At this time, I stop to think. I have to make a choice to pursue a career that may influence by many factors. Although young adulthood will confront with a stress, I am not nervous. Because I think I am the era of greatest energy that is enough for me to encounter.

My teaching experience [1]

Last year, I was a training teaching at Kanchanapisek Wittayalai Nakhon Pathom, Salaya (October, 2007 - October, 2008). I taught Mutthayom 1 (English1) for one year. I had a co-teacher, Ajarn Supa MingMueng. Before I came to teach at there, I felt nervous caused by new things that I have to force. I worried about teaching, writing lesson plan, and many things. But after I worked at there, I felt worm and confident because everyone at my office is very friendly and kind. So it made me relax and not fear, especially my co-teacher Ajarn Supa. She helped me checking and improving my lesson plan. She also gave me a good suggestion about teaching, how to control class and how to behave in school. All of these can help me to achieve success.
I think I was very lucky to be there. I met good collaborators, good students and good advisor. I had the opportunity to meet the foreign teachers who come from America, German, France, Turkey, and China. All of them are kind and friendly. They are willing to help me if I want. They let me ask their questions when I feel uncertain. I can talk to them to practice my English.
When I had some problem while I taught, I tried to solve this problem by myself and I always tell myself “Don’t be discouraged by the first failure-try again!”
